The 9th International Symposium on Innovative Approaches in Smart Technologies (ISAS 2025) was successfully hosted this year by Gaziantep Islam Science and Technology University. This prestigious international conference brought together researchers, academics, and professionals from around the world to discuss recent advances in smart technologies.
At the symposium, our master’s student Arslan Mohammad Zahid and our undergraduate student Giray Subaşı presented their work titled “A Comparative Study of Classical Spectral and Spatial Feature Extraction Methods for Fatigue Detection via EEG Signals” (Click for more) . Their presentations not only showcased their innovative approaches but also garnered the interest and appreciation of the participants.
We are delighted to share that their work has been officially published in IEEE Xplore, one of the world’s leading scientific publishing platforms, ensuring that their contribution has been added to the global literature in the field. This remarkable achievement stands as both a milestone in their academic journey and an inspiration for their peers.
We sincerely congratulate Arslan Mohammad Zahid and Giray Subaşı on this success and wish them continued achievements in their future academic and professional endeavors.
