
The 33rd Signal Processing and Communication Applications Conference (SIU 2025) was successfully hosted this year by Işık University. This prestigious conference brought together researchers, academics, and professionals from around the world to discuss recent advances in signal processing and communication applications.
At the symposium, our grad students Arif Emre Sevil, Mustafa Can Karataş, Özgür Arıslıel, and Ege Ergen presented their work titled “Respiratory Adevntitious Sound Classification Using Third-order Difference Plots” (Click for more), “Leveragging Classical Methods for Accurate Epilepsy Detection with EEG Signals” (Click for more), and “Diagnosis Model Based on Chest Correlation Map Derived from Lung Sounds” (Click for more). Their presentations not only showcased their innovative approaches but also garnered the interest and appreciation of the participants.
We are delighted to share that their work has been officially published in IEEE Xplore, one of the world’s leading scientific publishing platforms, ensuring that their contributions have been added to the global literature in the field. This remarkable achievement stands as both a milestone in their academic journey and an inspiration for their peers.
